MAXILLARY
BONE
A human face contain two maxillary bones,
One is left to our nose &
One is right to our nose.
The maxilla contains a large cavity is called maxillary sinus.
Maxillary sinus connect with the nasal cavity by two small opening.
THE MANDIBLE
It's called lower jaw
It is only movable bone in the skull, it connect with the ossicles of the ear 👂.
It consists the central curved horizontal part, known as rami.
Rami join the body at the angle of jaw.
The ramus terminates above in two processes
1. Coronoid process.(it in front)
2. Condyle. (As, it is sometimes called head of the mandible.which lies behind.)
This mandibular head or condyle articulates with the temporal bone to form the temporomandibular joint.
The mendible may be depressed and elevated as in opening and closing the mouth.
