THE EUKARYOTES

Image
Eukaryotic cells (Eu = good or well; true; karyon= nucleus)  ---         Eukaryotes include all living organisms, except bacteria and blue-green algae.       fig :- Eukaryotic plant cell  as seet under an electron microscope. #.  Characteristics of eukaryotes :-    Eukaryotes include both unicellular and multicellular organisms. They're large in size, which generally varies between 5 to 100 microns. They've a definite nuclear membrane around the genetic material. The DNA of eukaryotes remain bounded with protein. The membrane-bound cell organelles, like mitochondria, Lysosomes, Golgi complex, dictyosomes, Endoplasmic reticulum, and chloroplast are present and perform specific functions. Multiple chromosomes are present. Ribosomes are bigger than those in prokaryotes. They're either attached to the endoplasmic reticulum or found free.                    ...

THE CELLS...

Types of cells:-  There are two types of cells,         On the basis of structure,   1.   Prokaryotic cells:- (pro - before; karyon - nucleus ) :- Modern prokaryotes include bacteria and cyanobacteria,      A group of photosynthetic prokaryotes that were known as the blue algae.                          fig :- prokaryotic cel                                 # Characteristics of prokaryotes :-    prokaryotes are always unicellular organisms .                                                 They're small in size compare to           eukaryotes.                     ...

THE BRAIN...

Image
THE BRAIN      Brain is a complex coordinating centre in the body.     The brain is located inside the skull, at the top of spinal cord. It is protected by a bony box in the skull is called Cranium.                       Fig:- The human brain     The brain is surrounded/protected by three membranes called Meninges.      The space between the three membranes is filled with a cerebrospinal fluid, which protects the brain from mechanical shocks.        The brain is divided into three parts.                          1.   Forebrain     It consists mainly of cerebrum.                           2.   Midbra...

THE BLOOD...

The Blood      Blood is a body fluid in human and other animals. It delivers necessary substance.      eg.. Nutrients and Oxygen etc...                                                    or     Blood is a fluid tissue composed of two part.                                            PLASMA        *    The inter cellular substance is a fluid called plasma.        *     in which ...

The maxilla contains a large cavity is called maxillary sinus. Maxillary sinus connect with the nasal cavity by two small opening.                                                                      THE MANDIBLE                            It's called lower jaw It is only movable bone in the skull, it connect ...

THE SKULL OF HUMAN

Image
BONE OF THE FACE There are 14 facial bones, all except the mandible (जबड़ा) being united by sutures (टांके) and immovable(अचल). Two nasal bones form the bridge (🌉) of the nose. Two palatine (तलवे) bones form the roof of the mouth and the floor of the nose. Two lacrimal (अश्रु) bones form the tear(आंसू) ducts and part of the orbit at the inner angle of the eye, through which the fluid from the eye is carried to the nasal cavity. Two zygomatic bones form the cheek bones. Processes from these bones unite with the zygomatic processes of the temporal bones to form the zygomatic arch. One Vomer forms the lower part of the bony partition in the nose.(The upper part of the nasal septum is formed by the perpendicular plate of the ethmoid.) Two Inferior Turbinate bones are the large pair of three projections, nasal conchae, form the lateral wall of the maxilla.  Formula for remember   2+2+2+2+1+2+3=14             ...
